Copperhead Brewing Co. ("we", "us", "our") operates copperheadbrewingco.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). By using this website, you agree to this policy.
1. Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, subject, and message. These submissions are collected through Google Forms.
- Mailing list. Your email address. Our mailing list is managed by Mailchimp.
- Email, phone, or social media. Whatever information you include when you contact us directly.
You do not have to give us any of this. If you don't, we cannot reply to your inquiry or add you to our mailing list.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting provider and analytics tool record standard technical information:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating system
- Pages you viewed and how long you stayed
- The website or search that referred you
- Date and time of your visit
We use this to keep the site running and to understand how it is used. We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Reply to your questions, event bookings, and wholesale inquiries
- Send mailing list emails you signed up for
- See which pages are useful and improve the website
- Keep the website secure and working properly
We will not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.

- Contact form submissions. Kept as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and for our business records.
- Mailing list. Kept until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data. Kept according to Google Analytics' standard retention period.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will, unless we are required by law to keep it.
8. How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use established service providers with their own security controls. Access to inquiries and mailing list data is limited to staff who need it.
No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Unsubscribe from our mailing list, using the link at the bottom of every email we send
To make a request, email info@copperheadbrewingco.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
10. Age requirement
We produce and sell alcohol. This website is intended for people who are of legal drinking age in Saskatchewan (19 and over). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, including Facebook and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies before giving them your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
